TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR MEMBERS

  • Application submitted by the organization/ individual is subject to approval of Membership Committee of REIAI.

  • The Membership Committee reserves the right to refuse an application for membership without specifying any reason.

  • Membership types

    • MEMBER– Any organization in the business of environmental/recycling services, manufacturing, projects and/or trading is eligible to become a 'member'.
    • AFFILIATE MEMBER– Any association having members working in the field of environment and/or recycling is eligible to become an 'affiliate member'.
    • INSTITUTIONAL MEMBER– Any educational institution, university or research organization/institution is eligible to become an 'institutional member'
    • ASSOCIATE MEMBER– Any individual working or interested in the field of environment is eligible to become an 'associate member'.

  • Receipt of an application, complete in all respects, will be acknowledged within 10 days by the Secretary along with intimation of provisional admission.

  • Confirmation of membership shall be subject to approval by the Membership Committee of REIAI and will be communicated within 2 months of Application.

  • On rejection of application for membership, all subscription amount paid by the applicant shall be reimbursed without any interest thereon. The Association is not bound to specify any reasons for rejection.

  • Membership, once granted, will be valid for the calendar year.A renewal invoice will be issued at least one month in advance of the expiry of membership validity, and membership will be provisionally renewed for the next year. Member may inform in writing to REIAI if continuation of membership is not desired.

  • If membership is not renewed within its validity period by paying the renewal subscription, the membership will continue along with ordinary benefits but the member will lose voting rights, wherever applicable. On expiry of grace period of 3 months, the member will not be able to avail of ordinary benefits. Membership will be revoked and member's name will be struck off if subscription is not paid for two consecutive years.

  • The association is not obliged to give reasons for any decision it makes to suspend, terminate or restrict your Membership or to reject your request to become a Member.

  • The Membership of REIAI is non-transferable.

  • The Members are expected to collectively work and act towards the larger objectives of the Association and ensure that they do not indulge in any activity which is against the objectives or against the interest of the larger body of members.

  • All members other than “Associate Members” will be eligible for a single Voting Right during Annual General Meeting.
